One Week

Hey everyone!

Did you think I disappeared? Not!!

This has been an interesting week for me. To start it off, last Tuesday I had an old discomfort decide to visit me once again. I've had a pilanidol cyst on my tailbone for about 20 years. I haven't really had much of a problem with it for quite some time. However, it decided that on Tuesday night, it had remained silent long enough. It reappeared with a vengeance. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for Friday morning with my doctor. After one look at it, she sent me out to a surgeon to have it looked at. They decided to lance it for now which I thought would make the pain much more tolerable. It didn't! I'm still unable to sit down like normal. I'm still kind of sitting side saddle just to make it tolerable. So, without being able to sit at my office desk, no layouts are being made. Everything is at a stand still. I have an appointment tomorrow with the surgeon to decide if we need to do something more permanent such as having it surgically removed. If that happens, it could be months before I'm able to sit again. I'm very uneasy about the appointment tomorrow!

Then my husband borrowed the camera to take some pictures of a roof he was quoting. Upon putting the strap around his neck, the strap gave way and the camera fell on the ground. The zoom no longer works and the camera must be sent in to be repaired. It's still under warranty thank goodness.

Though it's only a camera to most people, it's like losing my right arm! For a scrapper and photographer it's like losing a best friend. We have a nother camera, but I don't think it's nearly as nice as my old one! So without a camera to use, there are no more pictures being taken as well as no pictures of finished layouts being taken, not that there are any of those either! Are you feeling my pain here?! LOL!

I'm hoping this will be the end of the bad luck this week and that brighter skies are on the horizon! Once I get back in the swing of things, I will be unstoppable, I promise.

Here's to a better tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by and for checking in on me! I really appreciate it. More, so much more, than you will ever know!
