Because of You

This is a picture of my girls taken this fall.

I did this layout using K & Company patterned paper from the Ancestory line. These are just the richest colors and so easy to work with.

I began by cutting out my shaped background piece. I then tore down the left side in a curved shape. I cut strips of paper from the same color scheme to make the pleated ribbon. I use hot glue to fasten it down for two reasons. First, because you pleat the paper it becomes a little thicker than a normal piece of paper making it harder to fasten down. Hot glue holds it very well!
And second, I'm impatient!

After adhering the pleated paper to the curve, I re-attatched the piece I tore off the left side and lined it up to fit right back where it came from. It was something I've never tried before ,but I really like the way it turned out.

I decided not to put a back piece on this one so I could display it on a picture stand.

Flowers are by Prima and all inks are from Ranger,

Thanks for the visit!
