Independence Day!

A small nearby town has fireworks for the fourth of July. For being such a small community the fireworks are always very nice.
We sat down by the river where they shoot them off. A few years back, I was actually hit in the head by a piece if the plastic outer shell of one of the fireworks! I carried it around in my car forever, and finally tossed it a couple of years ago. That would never happen again in a million years!
