Over at Pages In Time, we celebrated National Scrapbook Day with a weekend Mini Crop. Challenges were posted on Saturday and we had until Monday at midnight to finish them. There were several challenges to choose from and I did as many as I had time to do.
I had a busy weekend and was not home for most of the weekend, but I did manage to enter several challenges! And guess what.....toot! I won two of the challenges!
I won The Sketch With A Twist Challenge! For this one , we had to use something acrylic and follow a sketch. I've never worked with any kind of acrylic or recycled material before, I'm ashamed to say. I didn't really like the layout that I posted for it, probably because the plastic flowers looked funny to me. But I'm not complaining...I won a prize! Here's the layout:
The second prize I won was for a set of cards. I hardly ever make cards and was so surprised when I found out that I had won! The cards had to be done in these categories:
1. stamped
2. paper piecing
3. recycled material
Here are the cards I entered:
For the time I had available to spend over at Pages In Time, it was great! Everyone had such a good time. It was nice too doing the challenges and actually trying some new things that I might not have ever tried otherwise. You should visit Page in Time and check it out! It a great place!

Hey girl!
Congratulations on the wins! Sorry I missed out on all the fun! I was at a scrap event put on by my LSS. I spent too much money but did win some ribbon (10 yards, my choice) and a $40 album! Love all your new work! I don't know how you can get so much done and STILL keep up the quality of your work!! I am soooo slow!
Did I tell you how much I like your blog?? I do!!
